Economy pump and accessories. Correct low pressure problems or increase production of your existing reverse osmosis water filter system and maintain proper water pressure for maximum pure water output.
Achieve higher total dissolves solids (TDS) rejection for maximum contaminant reduction.
¼" Quick connect fittings on pump and tank pressure sensor.
Tank pressure sensor included for automatic pump on/off control.
Includes 24VDC 1.2 Amp pump and 110V power supply. Compatible with any drinking water Reverse Osmosis (RO) or RO/DI system for aquariums/labs with under 50 gallons per day production with 1/4" tubing.
The ECON Booster Pump Series - Improve the Filtration, Efficiency, and Pressure of RO/DI Water Filters
Easy Installation: Quick-access connect and disconnect fittings
These push-to-connect fittings allow for a quick and easy, leak-free connection to the filter tubing.
The Booster Pump includes a positive displacement, three-chamber, permanent magnet design.
The system is self-priming and can run dry without damage.
Simple Pressurization: Intuitive placement of the Booster Pump between the water source and the filter
The inlet and outlet of the Booster Pump are easily determined by the flow direction arrows printed on the head of the unit.
Simply connect your water source to the inlet of the Booster Pump, using the push-to-connect fittings. As shown above, your existing line can be used for this purpose.
Next, connect the outlet of the Booster Pump to the filter inlet using the push-to-connect fittings.
Peace of Mind: Water pressure sensor with automatic deactivation
Protect your system with the water pressure sensor, installed on the storage tank line.
This high-pressure sensor cuts off power to the Booster Pump when the water storage tank has reached the recommended pressure (around 40 PSI).
This keeps the storage tank at 40 PSI, ideal for most refrigerator ice makers and also provides more water flow out of the filter drinking water faucet
Choose the pump to match your membrane production rate. Contact WECO Filters if you need help.
The complete electrical wire harness is included
The electrical wire harness for the transformer, high pressure sensor, and pump is included.
Connect the components following the diagram below, and plug in the Booster Pump power supply to a 110V power source.
Mount the Booster Pump to the wall or under the cabinet, using the included mounting bracket, to minimize vibration and noise.
RO/DI Economy Water Pressure Booster Pumps
Compatible with most under-the-sink Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Deionization (DI) systems
Most RO membranes are designed to work with water pressure of 60 PSI or higher, where they are tested to yield a stable rejection rate of at least 97.5%. If the water pressure feeding the system is less than that, the system will produce less water, and at a lower quality. However, most house well pumps are on on/off switches that operate at only 20/40 psi or 30/50 psi. Without the Booster Pump, filters in these homes aren't receiving the recommended level of pressure for optimization.
Adding an electric Booster Pump increases the RO production rate.
RO/DI pumps also boost the pressure tank storage volume.
Most importantly, increased pressure results in rejecting more contaminants, thereby producing cleaner water.
